Omnibus Zoning Amendment for Proposed Gas Bar/Service Station

A development proposal for a gas bar/service station at the corner of Palladium Drive and Campeau Drive is being considered and the city is looking for your feedback. A Zoning Amendment is required as there would be a change in the Zoning By-Law.


What is an Omnibus Zoning Amendment? 

The Omnibus Zoning report will recommend amendments to modify the intent of certain provisions and to correct minor errors in the Zoning By-law. These amendments have been combined in an Omnibus Zoning report as a means of efficiently modifying the By-law. 

As always, it is my intent to keep the residents of Kanata North well informed. If you wish to provide feedback to the city, the deadline for the community comments on this development is October 27th, 2019. After the comment period is complete, the report will go to the Agriculture and Rural Affairs Committee on November 7th, then to Planning Committee on November 14th and if the report is passed by committee it will then rise to council on November 27th.
