The construction for Lepine’s new apartment building at 1088 Maritime Way will require blasting. It is expected to begin the week of October 19 or October 26th and is planned to continue for approximately 3 months. I have been informed that the blasting will occur Monday through Friday, with up to 6 blasts per crew, per day. Residents near the construction site should have received a Notification Letter from Explotech Engineering, the engineering company that is contracted to monitor the blasting vibration.
If you have any concerns or questions, please reach out to Jeff Corace, M-Roc Ltd. Drilling and Blasting at 613-838-4666 or Explotech Engineering at 613-723-2494.
