The city has received Zoning By-law Amendment and Site Plan Control applications to develop two multi-unit residential buildings. One building is proposed to be 28-storeys and the other 30-storeys with a total of 632 units. The buildings are to be connected by underground parking with 662 vehicle spaces and 301 bicycle stalls. Between the buildings on the ground-level are 30 visitor car parking spaces, and an additional 15 bicycle stalls (for a total of 316).
A Zoning By-law Amendment is required to increase the height across the site to 97 metres.
I will be hosting a virtual community consultation on March 9 at 6:30 PM to discuss this application and I encourage you all to join me. The applicant will present their proposed plans and be available to answer questions. The City Planner assigned to the application will also be available.
