Sharing details about upcoming hydro pole replacement work in the Beaverbrook community, impacting Beaverbrook Road, Carr Crescent, Carr Place, Varley Drive, and Carmichael Court.
The project will include running additional cables to accommodate increasing demand. As with other Hydro Ottawa projects, impacted residents and businesses will experience short, planned outages resulting from this work. Those directly impacted will be notified by Hydro Ottawa a minimum of 72 hours prior to the outage taking place, by phone/text/email, as well as through a written notification delivered to their door.
Residents will notice increased construction presence throughout the duration of the project, including excavation activities and construction vehicles. Traffic control, lane reductions, and signage will be implemented.
