ClubLink Update #41

With the court date approaching quickly, I’d like to share further details on the appeal process and next steps in our legal dispute with ClubLink.

As I had shared on March 11, ClubLink advised the City of Ottawa of their Notice to Appeal Justice Labrosse’s decision in the ClubLink matter to the Ontario Court of Appeal. The supporting materials from both the city and ClubLink are now available, and the expedited hearing will take place on June 17 at 10 am via videoconference.

How to Listen Live to the Appeal Process

The appeal is scheduled to start at 10 am on Thursday, June 17. Here is how to tune in live:

Supporting Materials

I appreciate our community’s ongoing commitment to oppose this development, and I truly believe that we will prevail.  The Ontario Superior Court decision was a solid decision, and I trust that the Appeals Court will uphold it.
