Kanata Town Centre Parcels 2 & 3 Virtual Community Consultation Meeting Info
A concept plan for the Kanata Town Centre was initiated more than 30 years ago. It concerns the land bordered by Kanata Ave and the Kanata Centrum Shopping Centre to the south, by Campeau Dr to the north, Canadian Shield Ave and Cordillera Ave to the east and Bill Teron Park to the west. Last year, as planned, the city sold land that bordered Campeau Dr and Cordilla St and recently they sold the parcel highlighted in yellow in the below map, which runs along Kanata Ave and Maritime Way (soon to be Canadian Shield).
I am hosting a Virtual Community Consultation Meeting on June 21st at 7:00pm with the developer who purchased this land. An application has not yet been submitted to the city; however, the developer has a concept, which they will share during the meeting to get our community’s feedback on it.
