I received notice this morning that ClubLink resubmitted their development application yesterday to the city, at the same time as the court proceedings were occurring. I will be meeting with city staff and our legal team early next week to discuss further and will provide an update as soon as I can.
Further, with the appeal heard yesterday by the Ontario Appeal Court, we are once again waiting for the court’s decision. It is very difficult to estimate how long this will take. It is entirely in the hands of the court.
I continue to believe that our community will prevail in this ordeal. The Forty Percent Agreement stands, and I trust that the Appeal Court will uphold the Superior Court decision.
