The 2021 season for the Kanata North Mosquito Nuisance Program is almost complete since the protection period is ending in mid-September. A final report, resuming all this season’s operations, will be shared with you in the next few weeks.

Weekly report from September 5th to September 11th, 2021
- There was 23 to 34 mm accumulation of water from the precipitation on September 5th, 7th & 10th
- There was presence of larvae on the field
- No treatments were done
- A few larvae were found further up north on the Carp River. Densities were really low because of the colder temperatures. This should not translate in heavy nuisance.
- Sweep tests were performed with results indicated below:
