We continue to hear from residents asking about the schedule for the construction of the Morgan’s Grant Dog Park.
The contractor plans to begin construction activities—including mobilization, installation of construction fencing, clearing, and grubbing—as soon as half-load restrictions are lifted. We will be sure to share that schedule when the Kanata North Office has received it.
Construction access will be available from both Whernside Terrace and Roy Wellington. Where rock is encountered, rock-breaking equipment will be used instead of blasting, and the contractor will provide advance notice before this work begins.
Any interruption to pedestrian access along the main path will be short-term and communicated to the City in advance, which we will also be sure to share.
